Newcastle Gateshead Clinical Commisioning Group

Community Forum meetings

The Newcastle Gateshead CCG Community Forum is for practitioners (paid and in a voluntary capacity) who work directly day to day with a particular community or group of people experiencing economic and social disadvantage and marginalisation in Newcastle and Gateshead.  The meetings are used to identify ‘burning issues’ that affect those communities and groups. This is an invaluable link with local need, to inform commissioning and service development decisions. It is hosted by Haref on behalf of the CCG and chaired by the CCG governing body lay member with the lead for Public and Patient Involvement

The Community Forum helps the CCG to stay in touch with people across local disadvantaged and marginalised communities, ensuring ongoing connections and conversations between communities and commissioners.
